You may have heard this
The New England Patriots lost Super Bowl VXLII (er, that’s 42 in roman nums; I think).
That means the New York Giants won. Because they were the other team playing in that game, you see.
So congrats to the Giants. And condolences, Pats.
For the rest of you, don’t believe Vegas.

I’m not trying to be pedantic, but couldn’t help myself here. It was Superbowl 42, but the correct Roman Numerals would be XLII. Where as VLII would be 47 (although the correct way of writing 47 I believe would be XLVII).
I’m sure that was fascinating.
Hey, be pedantic. Sure it’s freaking annoying, but it’s hardly the worst thing a person can be—that would be devastatingly sarcastic, which is something I’m good at.
