Been Waiting?

I’ve been away from my WordPress hobby the past several months (in all honesty I purposely removed myself from most of the online world, but I’ll discuss that in a later post). However, I noticed plans to release version 2.2 have been delayed. There’s some pretty good reasons behind the decision, though it’s unlikely you’ll see those reasons spelled out plainly.

I know, I know. You get used to it*.

Anyway, I’d like to use this pause in WP production to suggest a name for 2.2 (as if anyone is listening!). Most releases have been given monikers of various Jazz greats (a bit of explanation for why that is can be found here, sorta here and, uh, not quite here, but whatever).

Though it’s likely most of you will not have come across his name before, I propose Canadian saxophonist P.J. Perry, just because one can hope.

* I’m joking, of course. You never get used to it. ;)
