The blog has no clothes
If you’re visiting here April 5 (give or take) and realize things look a bit plain, it’s because I’ve closeted guff’s layout for Naked Day, which unfortunately is not as kinky as it sounds. It’s just a little Internet thing about doing away with ones CSS for a 24 hour period. The goal is supposedly to promote web standards—though I’m pretty sure CSS is considered a web standard. So let’s just call it a bit of fun, ok?
It’s certainly not a chance to get all nostalgic for the days when HTML came without a version number. Never again!
With this focus on what’s behind the curtain, you may want to consider my minimal yet excellent page semantics, and my not bad but really could use some tweaking validation outline. It’s not always about how you look. And no, not just ugly people think that.
Anyway, CSS Naked Day only lasts a day (give or take), so enjoy the slightly faster rendering you’ll get on guff while it lasts. When you’re naked, everything goes much quicker.
