Things improve

A new refrigerator^[1] made it into the house today. It’s 6 inches wider, 3 inches deeper and a little over 5 inches taller^[2] than the 21 year old fridge it replaced (21!). After nearly finishing moving all the food and sundry food-like products into it we found we had run out of space to put things, so a couple leftovers and a nearly finished gallon^[3] of milk were put on immediate consume duty.

I’ve always said one of my problems with the future is that there’ll be less room in it.

1. Apparently I write the word refrigerator so infrequently I had to look it up. Embarrassing.
2. 15 cm wider, 7.5 cm deeper and about 13 cm taller. I know you metricians are out there.
