Listen to the spammer

posted on August 23, 2005

Logging into this website should be a requirement for anyone knowledgeable on earth these days…

Words almost flattering enough to open up the blog to every scummy, knuckle dragging spammer out there. Thanks to Mr. hints texas holdem for the kind words. Or is that Ms. hints texas holdem? Whatever.

Either way, or if it’s both, or neither, do send ‘er my way. I wouldn’t half mind having a comment like that every so often.

Well s/he did leave an email address. So I’ll be happy to let h(im|er) know you’re looking for encouraging comment spam.

Oh darn. My emails to hints seem to be bouncing. I’ll try later…

As the frequent recipient of these sweet, tender, and encouraging comment spams, I at first believed they were sincere and it took me a while to see the errors of my ways. Thanks for the reminding that not every comment deserves a voice, especially when the voice is actually abuse disguised as kindness. Curse them. They make the web a horrible place.
