Dialog I had with myself today

posted on April 23, 2005

Kaf: I think I’ll post something on my blog.

Kafkaesquí: Why would you do that? You don’t even have an idea on what to write about.

Kaf: I never let that stop me before.

Kafkaesquí: And look where it’s got you.

Kaf: Sometimes it’s good not to have an idea to start from. Like jumping in the pool without worrying if the water is too cold.

Kafkaesquí: Sometimes the pool is empty.

Kaf: But this pool is a purely virtual one, and the only kind of scrapes I can get are to my ego.

Kafkaesquí: All right, enough with the pool analogy.

Kaf: But you haven’t even heard how RSS syndication relates to the shallow end, or selecting a category can be like doing the backstroke.

Kafkaesquí: I said enough!

Kaf: Ok, ok. But when you’re diving…

Kafkaesquí: Go post, already! You can put this stupid internal conversation up.

Kaf: Hmm. That’s a swimmingly good idea.

Kafkaesquí: Damn you.
