WP plugin: the_excerpt Reloaded
With time on my hands this afternoon I decided to use some up and post about my last *older* WordPress plugin previously gone unmentioned on guff. Based on the_excerpt, the_excerpt Reloaded, when a post does not contain an excerpt, displays the contents of the post (typically abbreviated), which can be customized on which HTML tags to allow, length of the excerpt (in words), "more..." link, and filtering type. The plugin's function the_excerpt_reloaded() must be used in The Loop. (more...)

Time for a new WordPress plugin! Post Updated is a simple fellow: it displays the last modified date and time for a post (that is, if later than the original post date). Useful for providing a "last updated" flag to your posts. (more...)
