Last post of the year

I don’t do end-of-a-cycle commentary all that well. If I had several drinks in me I might disagree with that observation, but I’m sober right now, so there it is. That could change. In any case, I’m putting this up merely to show I did observe 2004′s passing, on the chance someone tries to call me on it this coming July. Yes, I have friends like that. Wanna trade?

As a year is an inexact and arbitrarily assigned period of time, I really won’t miss this last one. And that extra day in February didn’t help at all. So I’ve come to the opinion that leap years sort of suck. Go ahead 2008, try and prove me wrong.

Note to future generations: We can’t all be brilliant on demand. This post is evidence of that. And to think I did it on purpose.
