A starting line is a starting line

Sat down earlier this evening and pushed out 950 words in 90 minutes. No land speed record to be found here. Then again, blood isn’t seeping from my pores either, so at least it’s coming without the accompanying agony. Yet.

Considering I had only a rudimentary idea of what I wanted the story to be about (I’ll get into that later in the month), I’m actually amazed I got as far as I have without sputtering to a halt from thoughts of “What Next?!” blocking the way. No structural impediments in view, so I may just get that first chapter uploaded Real Soon Now®.

Now to step away from the browser and see what I write next.
