Poem of the Week

No, I haven’t relapsed into forgetting that Monday means it’s time for the

Poem of the Week: Angry Cliché vs. Reality

I could always pop a cap
In your ass,
Though the image of such an act
Is truly without class.

Or just stick a Fork in you
‘Cuz you’re done.
Yet the insufficient risk of injury
Won’t make the act much fun.

Or rip off your head and shit
Down your neck,
If not that I’d be required to
Clean up your bloody dreck.

Perhaps slapping you silly is
My best choice,
No matter who else may consider it
The weakest option I can voice.

But before I take my anger
Out on you,
Let me state it’s not your person
That’s embroiled me in this stew.

The colloquial hoi polloi is what
Drives me mad,
Or perhaps I’m just in Hell due to
An underachieving chad.
