I won’t be going to see X-Men 2.

No, I’m not anti-X-Men, or even disdainful of comic book movies in general. In fact, I liked the first one, and I’m sure the new film is just as good, if not better. Based on the initial reviews I’ve come across, it seems like it’ll be a real winner at the box office. None of this matters, as I am not going to catch it while it’s in theaters. You see, I picked the short straw. So for my friends and relatives, I’ll be the one person they know who didn’t see X-Men 2.

But this does leave me out of the drawing for The Matrix Reloaded, so I’ll live.
